Frequently Asked Questions

Is this event ok for my children?

Families are more than welcomed.  We are attempting to make this a family friendly event, as a matter of fact many of our own children will be there helping out. But some children might find some of the exhibits or performers frightening.  If scary Halloween masks frighten your children, it may be best that they do not attend.   Additionally, many of our exhibitors have worked very hard to create items that may be fragile or easily damaged.  Please respect these artists by discouraging rough-housing in the expo.  There will be entertainment geared towards children as well as a bounce house for them to expel some of their energy.

Aren't you promoting Satanism?

We are promoting exploration of the unknown, not any religion nor lifestyle.  This is an opportunity for people to meet and learn about different aspects of many topics.

Why are you limiting the number of some booths?

Because variety is the spice of life! Our goal is to help connect people with the goods or services they are looking for.  We also want to provide our vendors with maximum exposure.  It isn't that we have anything against Psychics, jewelry makers, or candle makers- it is simply that we want to offer a win-win situation for everyone.

Can I bring my dog?

Sure if it is a service animal.  Otherwise, please do not bring your pet.  For both the safety of the animals and the safety and comfort of those in attendance, pets are not allowed inside.   With your pet's best interest in mind we also discourage leaving your pet in the car.  If you must bring your pet, please contact us to help you find a suitable boarding situation.

Can you tell me more about your group?

Our group will have a table at the expo, you are more than welcome to stop by and ask questions.  Or you may visit  www.ghosthuntersofwi.org.  However this site is dedicated to Parapalooza and in the interest of fairness to other groups in attendance, we will not promote out group through this site.   We will tell you that our group is promoting this event as a fundraiser.  All proceeds of this event will be put towards the purchase of investigative equipment.  (Our goal.. a thermal imaging camera)

Would you like to buy advertising?

We are very interesting in promoting this event, please feel free to contact us  with your offers.

This sounds like fun- how can I help?

We would love your help! We need volunteers to post flyers and would love it if you displayed one of our banners on your webpage.  If you have other ideas as to how you could help- we would love to hear them.

I am a member of a "competing" paranormal investigating group- why should I support this?

Because we do not believe there are competing groups- we believe in unity in the paranormal field and wish your group success- if you succeed- we all succeed.  Additionally we are not promoting our group at this event any more than we are promoting any other group.  Your group will be treated with the exact same level of professionalism as we will treat all our vendors and attendees.  As a matter of fact we are so interested in welcoming and meeting your group, we will gladly provide you with complimentary admission tickets and free fundraising opportunities.  And.. as the icing on the cake, if we meet our fundraising goal and are able to purchase a thermal camera, we will be more than happy to share it with your group!  Just tell us when and where to bring it and we will send it along with a fully trained investigator to operate it for you.
